t was the spring of 1989 when Ross Stewart asked Charlie Kadupski to help put north Texas on the map with a "Showcase" like none other. After considerable time and thought, Charlie enlisted the support and help of his friends within the U.S. Soccer Federation. This team of former professionals and current college coaches brought with them a competitive spirit and a passion for soccer. The Junior-Senior Showcase attracts over 300 college coaches from across the United States and teams representing local, state, regional, national and Olympic Development Programs. The Showcase gives players a chance to show their talents to a variety of college coaches while competing with other teams from across the United States. As a former college and professional athlete, I have tried to help kids realize their dream of competing at the collegiate level. Since its inception, the Junior-Senior Showcase has grown to become one of the most sought-after showcases in Region III and North Texas. The Sport Source® Showcase & Combine allows top teams in the U-16 and U-19 boys and girls divisions a chance to represent not only their club, but represent their league and state. | |||||||||||||
